DAY 1:    Drive to Murchison Falls National Park and View the top of the falls

Your 4 Days Murchison Falls National Park Safari starts with an early morning pick-up from your hotel or accommodation in Kampala/Entebbe by our driver/guide. After briefing, you will embark on a 5-hour scenic drive via the Kampala-Gulu highway.

You shall make a brief stopover in Masindi town and enjoy a delicious lunch after which you will proceed to Murchison Falls National Park. Upon arrival at the park, you will be guided to view the top of the falls on the River Nile where you will see and experience Africa’s most powerful water falls with a thunderous roar and a permanent rainbow mist.

After the view, you will proceed to check in in at your preferred accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

DAY 2;    Early Morning Game Drive, Afternoon Boat Cruise and Hike to the Top of the Falls

This is the day! Wake up early, have your breakfast and ready yourself for a thrilling encounter with the wild in the savannah. The game drive will expose you to sights and sounds of a variety wildlife species like Elephants, Lions, Leopards, Giraffes, Kobs, Buffaloes, baboons, and also a variety of bird species.

After the game drive you will return to your lodge for lunch and refreshments after which you will be driven to the boat docking area along the river Nile just in time for quite another breath-taking activity, the Boat Cruise. During the boat ride, you will view a variety of aquatic wildlife like the hippos and crocodiles as you proceed to the bottom of the mighty Murchison falls. From the bottom of the falls, you will then start the hike to the top of the falls. The hike should last about 1 hour with scenic views and great photography experiences. At the top, you will meet your driver-guide for transfer back to your lodge where you spend the night.

• A rain jacket is recommended as the weather is unpredictable.
• Proper hiking boots are essential for the steep terrain.

DAY 3;    Chimpanzee trekking

After breakfast on this day, you will transfer to the adjacent Budongo forest home to habituate chimpanzees within this conservation area. Chimpanzee trekking should last about 4-5 hours in the search for man’s closest relatives. After chimpanzee trekking, you will return to your accommodation facility for lunch and you will spend the evening relaxing at leisure then have dinner and spend the night.

DAY 4;    Drive from Murchison Falls National Park to Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary, then back to Kampala/Entebbe

This is the last day of your 4 Days Murchison Falls National Park Safari. After breakfast, you will begin your journey back to Kampala or Entebbe via Gulu-Kampala highway. On your way, you will brunch off to Zziwa rhino sanctuary for the rhino tracking activity after which you will proceed to Kampala/Entebbe.

A lunch break will be provided enroute, and you will arrive in the evening and your driver will drop you off at your place of choice in either Kampala or Entebbe. This will mark the completion of your unforgettable Murchison Falls National Park safari.
